Lukas Krob
… teaches fashion craftsmanship to millions of people, both on- and offline.
The fashion designer first gained attention during his master’s program by publishing short videos that broke down complex patterns and techniques. Usually a designer's secret, Lukas invites everyone to be part of his process on Instagram and TikTok.
Since then, his expert tutorials have been liked, shared and saved by fashion students, industry insiders and DIY enthusiasts alike. He recently crossed the 200.000-follower mark, while his views regularly reach into the millions. He is creating a real momentum for craftsmanship online, all while working on his own label KROBOS.

About Lukas
Born in Berlin and raised in Zürich - where he completed his initial training in bespoke tailoring before studying fashion design in Düsseldorf - Lukas comes from a creative background; his mother is an architect and his father designs interiors.
"I grew up arguing about shapes."
Lukas Krob
Unsurprisingly, his creations for KROBOS thrive on minimal elegance with sharp silhouettes. His work is the result of precise, determined pattern-making, driven by deep technical expertise and a keen analysis of iconic masters, with Rick Owens as a key influence. By pairing unconventional materials with exceptional textures, he elevates each look into a unique piece of high-end design. Through his brand Krobos, Lukas provides end-to-end collection development in womenswear and menswear for top-tier fashion houses, alongside custom pieces for individual clients. Having just opened his brand-new atelier in the heart of Düsseldorf, he is only getting started in sharing his passion for the craft with the world.
His social media audience comprises digitally native Gen Z and millennial fashion enthusiasts who view clothing as a form of artistic self-expression. Drawn by Lukas’ viral presence, this urban, trend-conscious community deeply values openness in the creative process and respects rigorous artisanal mastery over mass production. They are discerning consumers who selectively invest in distinctive statement pieces, seeking a sophisticated blend of avant-garde minimalism, couture-level skill and unexpected design.
